The Snowdroppers support Grinspoon

The Snowdroppers are currently on the road with Grinspoon on their 'Six To Midnight' tour. The tour kicked off at The Capital in Wagga Wagga last Thursday. I got to see the show at Campbelltown RSL on Wednesday night and it was amazing! The Snowdroppers opened, playing all their tracks from "Too Late To Pray". People were dancing on the dancefloor and the crowd were getting into it. The audience even gave them a "Yeehaw!". Johnny Wishbone, as per usual made the crowd laugh with his funny jokes and really engaged the crowd in their performance. At the end, they were given a big round of applause!

Next up were Amy Meredith and then after them were the legends themselves, GRINSPOON!! They were incredible! Everyone got up from their seats, moshed and sang along to all their greatest hits. Phil (Lead singer) was dancing on stage, picking on the security by pinching his nose and jumping on his back and then apologizing to them hoping that they could still be friends. He was so entertaining! He even got up on the speaker and did a little dance. They got off stage and everyone was screaming "Grinspoon, Grinspoon", wanting them to come back and play a few more songs as they weren't content yet. The boys came back on for an encore and played a couple more songs. At the end, Phil was saying how they never do anything like this. He introduced Johnny Wishbone to the stage. They played a song together - with Johnny Wishbone on the banjo. This moment was explosive!! When the song finished, Phil thanked Johnny Wishbone and gave him a clap and the crowd was going crazy!

Overall, the night was incredible. If you still haven't seen a show yet, visit http://www.difrntentgroup.com.au/events/#snow. These are shows not to be missed!!
