The Snowdroppers Present “The Barrelhouse”

October 26th, 2009 by

Friday night was awesome! The Snowdroppers headed down to The Bridge Hotel in Rozelle and transformed it their own world… “The Barrelhouse”.

A multi-room venue inspired by 1930′s and 1970′s blues houses. Taking over a whole venue and creating a urban juke joint where the smell of sex and sweat is generated to the soundtrack of Nick Cave, Howlin Wolf, Eels, R.L Burnside, The Stooges and Aretha Franklin just to name a few. A place where blues & booze is wild and dangerous again.

This week The Snowdroppers will be joined by Steve Smyth and The Barons Of Tang. Bring your boots along because this week there will be a Shoe Shiner as well as an outside smoking lounge complete with pipes, cigars and other paraphernalia.

As always, for those who surrender their underwear at the door receive free entry. Last week 10 people got in FREE!
